A few weeks ago we shot an Anniversary shoot! A cute idea that I’ve been hearing a lot more about lately. I know there aren’t a lot of pictures of my husband and I (especially after two kids!), but maybe we should all start doing this! These two lovebirds had only been married ONE year, but maybe we should all make this a (at least every couple of years) tradition!
Katie & Kevin were married at Irongate Equestrian Center in July! It was such a beautiful day and everything turned out perfectly! We love to shoot at Irongate, it’s always such an amazing venue with such a capable team running it. We loved the new white gauzy arbor with the chandelier, such a nice touch. We loved spending time with Katie & Kevin and had such a great time capturing their special day!
This was a fun wedding we shot in May. Shelley and Andy were married at Trinity United Methodist Church and had their reception at the Athletic Club of Columbus. We shot the bridal party and bridal portraits at the Ohio Statehouse, which is within walking distance of the Athletic Club. I love the classic style of the Athletic Club, a truly beautiful space to have a reception (and to take pictures!).
Shelley and Andy added a fun element to their wedding with nerf guns. The groomsmen had fun with them in some bridal party portraits. And instead of rice or bubbles on their exit, they were pelted with nerf darts as they shot back. This was probably our favorite exit yet!
We’re so excited to share this Granville wedding that we shot in May! We can’t be happier for Kate & Jordan and were so excited to be a part of their big day! Kate is one of our oldest friends and we were so happy that she chose us to shoot her wedding!
Full of classic touches, this Granville wedding had beautiful purples, navy and gold. I loved the ‘Q’ cake topper and the navy stripes on the tables. Kate, who is very much a film buff, chose to have a movie theme for each table. The Granville Inn was the perfect backdrop for outdoor cocktail hour and reception, we love the stately feel of all the stone, ivy and wood. We hope you enjoy!
